Making a design or an artwork involves a lot of activities and one of which is using a proper font to match the design. That is why every graphic designer or artist, is better off if he has a sizeable collection of fonts that he can use on any given project. It saves time if he maintains a cache of tools for the trade than to go looking around when the need arises. Here, we are sharing with you some graffiti fonts that you can use to meet your typography needs.

These graffiti fonts as they are called, are inspired from graffiti art commonly found on street walls, alleys and abandoned buildings. You can use these on such works as urban-themed posters, flyers, web designs and a lot more. Some of these graffiti fonts are free for both personal and commercial use, while some are only limited to personal usage, so be advised to read their restrictions. Fonts are very important resources for web designers and graphic artists. If you are one of them, it is necessary that you have a sizable collection of fonts, so that when the need arises, you can easily pullout a nice typography to give a distinctive style to your designs. For today, we have come up with samples of some of the hottest retro fonts out there in the web now. For the sake of illustration, we downloaded all the fonts and placed them onĀ old paper texture to see how they look like when implemented on a design.

To say the least, these fonts are gorgeous in their own typographic flavor which is obviously reminiscent of the 60s, the 70s, the 80s and other bygone eras. Having downloaded all these fonts for presentation purposes, it thus confirmed that all of these work in actual designing environment.

By the way, these fonts are all free for personal use and some even for commercial purposes.
