Lego consists of thousands of colorful plastic bricks, gears, mini characters and various other parts. Lego bricks can be assembled and connected in many creative ways whatever pops up in your mind. It is possible to construct objects such as buildings, planes, cars and even programmable robots. Anything constructed can then be taken apart again, and the pieces used to make other creative objects. In the recent years Lego have teamed up with the entertainment industry and created Lego universes of e.g. well know movies. A great example of this is Lego Star Wars – a huge success.

The Logo concept was originally designed in Denmark long time ago and served generations with lots of fun, creativity and play. Where people of different ages started to embrace it. It was all started a well known carpenter from Denmark, initially working with wooden toys. His company came to be called “LEGO”, derived from a famous Danish phrase “leg godt”, which means “play-well”.

The LEGO company began expanding to plastic toys and there on produced these famous interlocking bricks. As we all know they went viral and very famous world wide among children and even adults. LEGO is a toy but with the help of human creativity, one can simply build amazing structures and objects using Lego. Typically the problem is to get enough bricks without spending too much. Carl Warner – Foodscapes

Among the food artists, Carl Warner specializes in creating not just a single piece of artwork out of an edible material but whole sets of art pieces arranged together on an edible surface to form a landscape. On a single foodscape for example you can see deliberately carved and molded figures along with other intricate details. The result are stunning panoramas complete with all details found in the environment. Not only that, Carl Warner’s art does not stop at the modeling of landscapes alone but he combines it with skillful photography. Carl explains that his images can take up to two or three days to build and photograph and then a couple of days retouching and fine tuning the images to blend all the elements together. Thus, on his final artwork you can see dramatic skies complementing the landscape models he made. Carl also spends a lot of time planning each image before shooting in order to choose the best ingredients to replicate larger scale shapes and forms within nature, so he spends a lot of time staring at vegetables in supermarkets which makes him seem a little odd! However, he is careful to point out that finding the right shaped broccoli to use as a tree is an all important task.

Sport advertisements motivate us to be active and healthy. Whether they get us up and outside to get some exercise or inspire the designer in us to take our game up a notch, sport ads are a great source of inspiration. This collection focuses on bigger-than-life print ads that you may have seen on posters at a mall or billboards on the highway. Some have been around for awhile and others are brand new, but all definitely have the ability to grab attention with some amazing graphics.

Not all of these images are ads for sports companies. Among the collection you will see an iPhone ad, an ad for the Mexican Association of Pediatricians, and Canon Steadyshot, perhaps showing how popular sports can be within several target audience groups.

In viewing this collection, you may notice that HDR has definitely seen a surge in use for ads, as this round up shows. Photomanipulation, while nothing new, has certainly seen a resurgence as well. 30 Stunning Snowman Images

A snowman is a sculpture of a person which is made from packed snow. As one might imagine, it is generally found only in climates where it snows and remains cold enough for the snow to stick, although in warmer regions people may make them as a novelty when some shredded ice or artificial snow is available. As an anthropomorphic snow sculpture. They are customarily built by children as part of a family project in celebration of winter. In some cases, participants in winter festivals will build large numbers of snowmen. Because they are situation-specific, it is a good example of popular installation art.

A classic snowman is made very simply, with three balls of snow stacked on top of each other. Traditionally, the balls taper in size, with the top ball forming the head, the middle ball forming the torso, and the bottom ball being used for the legs. It is also common to decorate the snowman, classically with lumps of coal for eyes and a carrot for a nose. Coal may also be used to suggest buttons on the it’s torso, and to make a mouth. Human clothing, such as hat or scarf may even be included. Low-cost and availability are an issue, since snowman are usually in a cold and/or wet environment, and abandoned to the elements once completed.

Many people in snowy countries enjoy making snowmen as a winter activity and also Christmas which allows them to get outside even when the weather is less than ideal. After a period of heavy snow, it is not uncommon to see numerous people out and about in their yards, taking stock of damage and cooperating in teams to build snowmen for fun.
