Lego consists of thousands of colorful plastic bricks, gears, mini characters and various other parts. Lego bricks can be assembled and connected in many creative ways whatever pops up in your mind. It is possible to construct objects such as buildings, planes, cars and even programmable robots. Anything constructed can then be taken apart again, and the pieces used to make other creative objects. In the recent years Lego have teamed up with the entertainment industry and created Lego universes of e.g. well know movies. A great example of this is Lego Star Wars – a huge success.
The Logo concept was originally designed in Denmark long time ago and served generations with lots of fun, creativity and play. Where people of different ages started to embrace it. It was all started a well known carpenter from Denmark, initially working with wooden toys. His company came to be called “LEGO”, derived from a famous Danish phrase “leg godt”, which means “play-well”.
The LEGO company began expanding to plastic toys and there on produced these famous interlocking bricks. As we all know they went viral and very famous world wide among children and even adults. LEGO is a toy but with the help of human creativity, one can simply build amazing structures and objects using Lego. Typically the problem is to get enough bricks without spending too much.
