Playa Dust Storm

A sand or dust storm is a meteorological phenomenon that inspires fear from the hearts of people since time immemorial. It can damage houses, bury infrastructures and equipment, and it can cause widespread disruption of air and road traffic that would extend to several towns and cities. Also, it can cause health problems associated with breathing air with heavy dust concentration. Such is the effect of a massive volume of floating sand and dust particles as they advance unhindered along their path.

With their magnitude and dangerous potential, dust and sand storms are constant reminders of how frail we are against the brute force of nature. Indeed the cataclysmic workings of nature and its power to alter our surroundings cannot help us but feel awe and respect albeit out of fear. Although dust and sand storms are menacing and unsightly in every sense of a word, our helplessness to halt these advancing columns to dust and our amazement of their vastness, all combine to makes us dumbfounded and fascinated. These emotions of course would drive our impulse to record our duel with nature and tales about how we conduct ourselves as the storm unleashes its wrath with unprecedented ferocity.

Thanks to cameras, some of the photographers were able to capture photos of sand storms as they transpire in some places. If you are able to capture such stunning photos and want to share them online one of the easiest ways is to implement a photography WordPress theme on your website. This way you ensure that your photos will be showcased the very best way.

We are showing here some of the pictures of sand and dust storms that portray the beauty (from photography perspective), the bad and the ugly of these atmospheric occurrence. Check them out and enjoy!
