Badge and emblem logo designs have gained popularity in the field of logo making. Commonly used in the military as decorative elements to represent strength and authority, badges and emblems have inspired logo designers, and it is not uncommon now to see logos with shapes that look a bit like military patches. By looking back in history, we see that this is actually not a new trend. In fact, some of the earliest “versions of logos” where code of arms or family escutcheons painted on the shields that knights used in battles.
