In this article, we will look at a plugin that allows you to show other people your WordPress content and let them preview and provide feedback, before you publish to your blog. They do not even have access to your Dashboard.

It is essential to be critical and only give your blog readers valuable, high quality content. Therefore, a second opinion before an article is made public is always wise. However, it can be difficult without the Public Post Preview Plugin, since there  are no other convenient options, but to create a temporary demo account in your WordPress Dashboard. Alternatively you may send a text file, but it is not highly effective.

This is also an excellent way to ensure that you do not end up publishing incorrect or misunderstood content on your blog, and also if you let your sources preview your posts before going “live”, you will not risk to get an imprecise quote published. This is particularly helpful, for example, if you work with experts on topics they know well and if they help you with their insights at the distance.

The first thing to do is to install the Public Post Preview plugin and activate it. This is easily done:

install

First search for the plugin and find it in the search results and press “Install Now”.

The plugin is remarkably easy to use. When you write, a new post, you will find a meta-box called “Public Post Preview”, and all you have to do is to “Enable Public Preview” and copy the link in the meta-box and share it.

The people previewing your content only have to paste the shared link into a web browser and then they will see your unpublished blog post in their browser.
