Photoshop brushes are used by the Brush and Pencil tools for freehand drawing. While you can use them to draw simple lines with hard or soft edges there is a lot more potential if you get your hands on some cool Photoshop brush sets. Often Photoshop brushes are used for adding cool light effects, and floral shapes. Other popular effects are those created with smoke brushes and water brushes
However as you can see below there are some pretty amazing grunge brush sets available as well and you can use these to easily add grunge style to your designs. If you use more than one grunge brush style and also combine them with some old paper style brushes I’m sure the effect will be great. Grunge effects in design can mean many things e.g. but often we see decay on walls, old paint, dirt, cut marks, rust etc. as effects used.
