Around the world you can find monuments, statues and sculptures displayed in public parks and other places of interests. These public artworks are in most cases, figures of heroes and distinguished individuals who have significant contributions to the country or to the locality. Inasmuch as these statue and sculpture art objects are nothing but ordinary memorial structures, most of them are depicted in a formal and in the most stately fashion. There are however, statue and sculpture art objects which are creatively designed that you would swear, their concept or idea never crossed your mind. This of course does not only refer to statues and sculptures of heroes and statesmen but in large part, to other things like animals and inanimate objects. Yes, in cities around the world, you can find unusual statue and sculpture art objects aside from the usual display of distinguished individuals revered by the community.
Here in this article, you can see just the creative and unusual statue and sculpture art pieces in public parks and other places of cities. So strange, and weird these statue and sculpture art pieces that you cannot help but let out a grin. Whatever the purpose of creating these artworks may be, I’m sure humor is one of them if not the only.

awesome!
LOVED this collection, and it was a genuine stress reliever. I also visited the outdoor sculpture garden on the National Mall in Washington, DC years ago and saw what must have been a 15-20 foot high round eraser with a brush (such as was common in days of typewriters).
Thank you for this lovely break.
Great collection thanks a lot.
Sam
Nice edits. Awesome. Save some images to show my friends.
Thanks.
#20 is actually in Washington, D.C. It’s the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial on the National Mall.
Well done! Those are amazing and very interesting sculptures.
????
Danke
Thank you
These made me smile! Fab and fun! I love that adults have the joy of life to create and position these. ‘Walking to the sky’ is a particular favourite! I will share these with pupils I teach.
Thanks.

It’s very refreshing to see this genre of public sculpture. I would like to have to opportubity to work on a similar project in Washington Square New York.
