Likewise, you have to research the online vendor before you make a purchase.

But there would be some who would want to use these watches for an everyday basis.
There are several factors to consider when purchasing a luxury watch, especially if it is being purchased, in part, as an investment.

More on the Peraves Monotracer (No.23) This sentence is confused nonsense: “The controls for this bike are similar to a car, with pedal operated accelerator and a steering wheel”. WRONG! The controls are much more motorcycle-like, with handlebars and twistgrip throttle; although there is a left foot clutch and right foot brake in addition to the right hand brake lever; the gearchange is operated by the left index finger on a rocker switch. This is equally confused: “It even has two doors and two seats” . WRONG! It has one gull-wing door on the left, but two seats in tandem. And it has never been called a ‘Jet bike’ by anyone. The petrol (gasoline) versions are powered by a near-standard BMW K1200 motorcycle engine, but with 4 forward gears and reverse instead of the usual 5 gears. PNB

As far as I’m aware, the only machine here that is actually in production is the Peraves Monotracer, which I personally rode on both Grand Prix circuit and public highway back in 2007, and many times since. More than 50 Peraves Monotracers have now been built, including several all-electric 215 horsepower versions. The first two electric prototypes won their class and $2.5million in the Progressive Automotive X-prize in 2010 and a ‘cousin’ electric machine, the DesignWerk Zerotracer went around the world in 80 days in 2011.
