Wow that was a long, detailed list. I’m glad to see you included Kindle, that’s one of my favorites, but surprised the Dish Remote Access app from DISH Network isn’t anywhere on your top 80. I know people could claim that I’m biased, being that I work for DISH, but their TV Everywhere technology is second to none. After I got it hooked up (which was a breeze), I could stream any of my programming, including live channels, and anything on my DVR…anywhere I went. And not just to my iPad either (although that’s what I use most), it works on a bunch of mobile devices. It’s actually my favorite app!

You missed Zite which is a superior news aggregator than Flipboard or Pulse. I read your article on Zite and was surprised to not see it on your list. Otherwise, I agree with the list and learned about a few apps to download and try.
