Mailing lists have been around since the early days of the Internet, but still they are the preferred and most valuable asset you can have if you are doing business online. Experienced Internet Marketers consider it more important to get an opt-in than a sale because subscribers on a list may produce several future sales. The larger the list the better obviously which is why you see so many free reports, e-books and pop-ups asking for visitors to give their email address. There are many ways to convince visitors to take action and give their email address, but some are more effective than others and less invasive and disturbing for the visitor. I have just discovered a really cool plugins for WordPress that calls to action in a really discrete, but still very effective way. I just got the package and I’m seriously planning to try it out. Lets see what Toolbar Plugin for WordPress is.
