What made it stand out

First of all, we really liked the fresh green color of the blog. Secondly, if you move the scroll wheel you would notice, there is a very interesting scrolling element in the website which really made it to our list. Apart from that, the flying bird animation along with the glowing bulbs give this blog a fresh and magical effect.

What made it stand out

Did you notice the amazing out of the box navigation scheme? Along with a perfect choice of colors, this blog challenges the very standards of navigation “Keeping it on the top”. To add a flavor, this blog has a bottom navigation that indeed makes it stand out from the rest of the web pages

Just Labs

What made it stand out

Just Labs have used CU3ER, which is a free and customizable 3D image slider as their welcoming object. The perfect background color blends also gives this blog design, an edge over others.

Pit Falls of using the 3D image slider

As we told, Just Labs have used a 3D image slider to give an amazing effect to their page still the plugin is flash based. And flash takes time to load. So, no doubt it indeed looks fascinating but if you are more concerned about the loading time of your page, the sue of any flash component is not recommended

What’s so special in it?

See the colors ? The background ? We just loved that. Another thing that we loved was the scrolling sidebar and an amazing jQuery animation on the left box. You scroll down and the whole right sidebar (where the contacts are mentioned) moves with you! Cool :)

Should You Use That Everywhere?

Although it looks amazing on the above page, but adding an element that scrolls with the scrollbar and never leaves user’s sight is not recommended. Most of the users get annoyed by these kinds of auto-scrolling stuffs on websites.

What we loved in it:

Horizontal Scrolling ! For some reason, getting a horizontal scroll web page in today’s web scenario is kind of rare. But we found an absolute amazing implementation of horizontal scroll with the above web page.

Why is Horizontal Scroll So Rare?

It’s all about user experience. Most of the users are so used to a vertical scroll that they may not even notice that there is a horizontal scroll present. That’s the main reason for the web developers and designers for not using horizontal scroll extensively in their designs. However, sometimes we have to break the rules!
