A New WordPress Slideshow Plugin Creates Beautiful Slideshows in a Snap!

Slideshow Plugin is a new premium WordPress plugin I just found and thought you should know about. Basically it’s an easy to use photo slideshow player developed for WordPress users and it allows your to create beautiful slideshow galleries in minutes all without leaving the WordPress admin area.

I have been playing around with Slideshow Plugin today and I really think it was easy it is to install and use. There is no limitations to how many slideshows you can add to your posts and pages which is good. Actually when you create a new slideshow a “short code” is generated which you simply copy and paste anywhere in your posts or pages. The short code looks like this: [slideshow id="2" width="500" height="400"]. As you can see, you can also resize the slideshows on the fly in this short code by adjusting the width and height parameters. I tried to use the short code in the sidebar which didn’t work. But the developer assured me that in the next update, which comes out this week, this will also be possible.

I created a few examples and also did small ones to see how it worked with little space available for the elements and it handled it fine. The thumbs just rotate when there is not space enough for all of them. It is important to have images that fit the width and height settings if you want it to look perfect. Another great option is to use WordPress gallery themes where a plugin is not required.
