Wow, January really was quite a busy for WordPress themes. I don’t know how, but I totally missed the PostCard theme from WooThemes, it’s great and would make for a great starting point when developing a travel site.
Also, the othrs that you’ve highlighted (apartment and job board specifically) are looking really good.

The trick for finding a good wordpress theme is to look past the colorful images and look at the layout. There were definitely a food good layouts you recognized.
